The Latin Mass in Fresno
Catholics in the Fresno area have access to a Latin Mass every Sunday. As our Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI clarified in his 2007 motu proprio Summorum Pontificum, the traditional Latin Mass has never been outlawed, and thus has always been permitted. Therefore, priests need no special permission to celebrate the Latin Mass, and Catholics need no special permission to attend it.
